 our goals

bullet

To Provide Opportunities
Every child in America deserves an opportunity for a quality education, and every community deserves the resources to provide those opportunities. NCEPmember schools deliver both and it is the goal of NCEP, as an advocate for maximum chartering within states, to extend those opportunities and resources across America.

bullet

To Achieve Equity
Children being educated in NCEP-member schools are not receiving the same level of per-student funding support that other public schools receive from state local, state and federal sources. This denies students equal access to funds - and to the opportunities those funds represent – that are rightfully theirs that other children in their communities enjoy. NCEP’s goal is to erase this inequity and secure funding for our children that are equal to that provided to other children.

bullet

To Foster Innovation
The challenges of education in the new century demand innovation in the structure, approach and content of teaching, learning and parental involvement in the schooling of their children. It is a goal of NCEP-members to ensure that their schools use the curricula, teaching methods and personnel that best respond to the needs of individual students and not to the demands or convention.

bullet

To Ensure Performance
NCEP-member schools deliver levels of performance - in all aspects of learning and teaching - that are demanded by parents, and promised by elected officials, in communities nationwide. It is a goal of NCEP’s members to promote the quality and success of their schools in order to encourage high standards among all education providers.

NCEP-member schools represent a commitment to educational quality, in all aspects of the educational experience, and are dedicated to delivering the quality education that parents demand, and children need, by providing curricula, teachers, educational environments, and relationships between teachers and parents and children that foster academic achievement and social success.

NCEP members are dedicated to meeting the demands of communities for schools that effectively apply public funds to deliver quality education, and, in turn, are equally dedicated to seeking the equitable distribution of those funds to ensure fairness, and equal opportunities for our students.
